Every time you welcome me with a cup of tea
you bring me delight and make me stress free.

I usually stand tall as my ego soared
but when it is you I'm completely floored.



Every day as I wait for your hug
I am waiting for that one cure-all drug.
Your hug that is cozy - calms me down
(is) the drug that is drowsy - melts me down.

You and me picture a lot in my dreams
Impossible I thought, but possible it seems
as you compete with the RBCs in my blood stream.
You with other blood cells in me - a invigorated team.


The effort you take to keep me with you
the love you express to make me all yours
the miles you go to bring me smiles
is going to make Love all ours.

Rest of you find something else

Moon Walk

The moon has landed on earth.
God has given me a second chance - a re-birth
Though I was ready for a painful wait
Someone decided it would be too late.

The moon arrived with not much fanfare
But everyday since then has been
like the heaven is right here.
Happy and peace as a teen.

Your face, etched deep inside my eyes
memories wired to my brain and
feelings channeled to my heart.
anything for you in a heart beat.

Short walks down the road
plate full of spicy food
cold breeze on the face
short but meaningful gaze
are ever lasting memories.

You are the moon of the earth
The only one with all the worth
